Pistachio, the raw material

Base note · Sweet

Pistachio.

Sweet green nut, buttery with a salted edge.

Our read on the material, not a measurement.

What it smells like.

Pistachio smells of sweet green nut and butter, with a faintly salty edge that keeps it from being cloying. It sits between a gourmand and a green note.

It gives sweet blends texture and a slightly unusual, dessert-shop quality. It works with caramel, vanilla and coffee and it does not have the weight to lead a base.
