Build with agarwood (oud) at the bench

What it smells like.

Oud is resinous wood at full strength: dark, dense, smoky, with a sharp medicinal edge at the top and a warm leathery depth underneath. It is the most polarising material in perfumery and the one people either love immediately or want nothing to do with.

It is a foundation, not an accent. Rose over oud is one of the great pairings and it is worth building a blend around. Understand what you are committing to, though: oud is long-lasting and unmistakable, it fills a room, and in a small office it will make the decision for everyone else too. Sample before you commit to a full bottle.

In a blend.

The heaviest note here. Oud gives a blend serious weight and will define it. If you want something easy to wear to work, this is not it.

Woody. Warm, grounded scents built around woods, resins and depth.
