Fir Resin.
Sticky green sap with a cool, coniferous bite.
How loudly it speaksBalanced
Our read on the material, not a measurement.
What it smells like.
Fir resin is sap: sticky, green, faintly sweet and distinctly coniferous, with a cool bite at the top. It smells like a broken branch rather than a Christmas tree ornament.
It gives a blend a fresh, forested depth and it is one of the few base notes that reads as cold. It suits woods and citrus and it fights sweet fruit.
