Build with jasmine at the bench

What it smells like.

Jasmine is warm, slightly heady white floral with a glow to it rather than a sparkle. Underneath the sweetness there is something skin-like and faintly animalic, which is what gives it richness and what makes some people describe it as sensual rather than pretty.

It is the great connector. Jasmine bridges fruit and wood, it fills the gap between a bright top and a heavy base, and it makes a thin formula smell complete. Just know what you are choosing: it is not a fresh or clean floral, and in a blend meant to read as crisp it will warm things up more than you expect.

In a blend.

The most useful floral on the bench. Jasmine makes almost anything smell more finished. It has an animalic warmth, so it is not a clean note.

Floral. Soft to expressive florals with elegance at their core.
