Neroli.

What it smells like.

Neroli comes from the same flower as orange blossom but smells markedly different: greener, more bitter and much fresher, with a clean citrus lift and none of the honeyed weight.

It gives an opening a floral brightness that citrus alone cannot manage and it reads as crisp and unisex. It is short-lived, like the citrus family it sits beside.
