Seaweed, the raw material

Top note · Fresh

Seaweed.

Salty green kelp, mineral and slightly iodine.

How loudly it speaksBalanced

Our read on the material, not a measurement.

What it smells like.

Seaweed is salty and green with a mineral, faintly iodine sharpness. It smells like the tide line rather than open water, and it is more challenging than a clean marine note.

It gives an aquatic blend realism and an edge that reads as natural rather than laundered. It is distinctive and not universally liked, so it is worth sampling.
